A Type DNS Record not working with custom domain

Hi!

I am trying to use a bare domain with my glitch project.

In glitch’s own tutorial, they say you have to ping glitch.edgeapp.net and you use the ip address that is gives you in your type A DNS record.

However, after creating the DNS record, the website isnt loading.

I am using cloudflare by the way.

My site is simply-travel.glitch.me

The custom domain is simplytravel.tk

It looks like you’re getting the “SSL Handshake” error.
To fix this, you’ll need to turn off full ssl. Follow this video to set it to flexible mode:
