Account Suspended, unable to download projects

Hello,

I recently received an email informing me that I was required to log onto Glitch to download my projects prior to the site’s closure at the end of this year. I proceeded to log in as instructed; however, upon accessing my dashboard, I encountered a popup notification indicating that my account had been suspended and that I was prohibited from further editing my projects. This notification was accompanied by a link directing me to the support page.

Attempting to download my projects resulted in an error message stating, “Well, that was unexpected. We’re not quite sure why, but something went wrong connecting to this project!”. I suspected that this error was related to the suspension of my account, and I subsequently emailed Glitch support on two or three occasions, but have received no response from them.

I contacted Fastly today and was advised to log onto these forums and post here. If anyone is able to assist me in recovering my account, please respond to this post. My Glitch username is @theduck. I have a significant amount of work on the platform that I do not wish to lose. I am kindly requesting my account to be unsuspended or for some way I can download all of my work.

I would push back on this in response to that reply because anything related to suspension appeals has to happen on the internal support side - only fastly staff can help, not the rest of us here in the forum.

To confirm Jenn’s message: no one in the forum can act on support requests, if you got a support response telling you to use the forum, please reply to them and tell them Pomax said absolutely not. The forum is a community forum, not glitch account support

Is there anything I can do or anyone I could contact at Glitch to resolve my issue? The person whom I called and who suggested I should post here I’ve lost contact with, and I’ve been waiting almost a full month for a human response from the support inbox. Posting here was a last resort option due to radio silence from the inbox.

Unfortunately, you will have to send a new email to support@glitch.com then - assume your case got lost in the insanity of shutting down Glitch, and support should no longer be swamped at this point, so I’d assume they’d be able to respond in a more timely fashion.

It’s been a couple of weeks and I haven’t gotten a response from Glitch Support besides an automatically generated “We have received your message” response. I highly doubt I will receive any response from Glitch Support any time soon. Is there anything else I can possibly do? Anyone else I could contact? Surely one of you guys must have connections to someone at Glitch who could help me.

Checking in after more than a month, still no response from Glitch or Fastly Support. This issue has been going on for more than 3 months, and there is still no resolution. Anyone who works for Glitch on this form who can please help me?

There is alot going on with the shut down of Glitch so there is alot of misinformation you will be waiting a bit from mods because of the amount of posts that are getting uploaded.
