Hey everyone,
Due to an uptick in unwanted behavior in recent days (no, this isn’t related to the downtime we experienced last night), we’ve added some new restrictions to the kinds of files we allow people to share via the Glitch Editor’s Assets pane. We’ll be making regular updates to the list of file types that are uploadable in response to our duty to keep the internet safe, but are taking care to allow the most common kinds of files that make the community’s projects colorful, engaging, and sometimes a little bit too loud?
If you bump into a restriction and it’s really causing issues for what you’re building on Glitch, please don’t hesitate to reach out at support@glitch.com and let us know what you’re trying to do so we can talk about it together. To be clear, this change won’t be noticeable to the vast majority of you, but we wanted to say something up front for the handful of well-meaning people that might encounter it.
Thanks!
