"copy-paste" in "Assets" erase the image

Hi,

In the editor, when I go in the “assets”, i can “copy-paste” an image. Great. But if I paste a second image, it replaces the previous one…

My images in the clipboard are screenshots taken with https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=xfce4-screenshooter under Debian/Firefox.

Is it the expected behavior?

yes almost all os use a single item in the clipboard so if you copy something then copy another thing the first thing will be gone.if you want to copy more you can just copy 1 thing and put it where you want then copy the other and put it where you want

Hey @sebsheep thanks for the report!

I don’t think this is expected, per se, but I do believe it to be a function of how the browser Clipboard API creates file names for pasted images, and I don’t think there’s a way to work around it. We’re planning some updates to the assets drawer and image storage sometime down the road, and I don’t think we’re likely to making significant updates to the current assets code before then, so I think you might be stuck here; I’m sorry for the bother!
