cool, but really really laggy. It tries to render every frame even if it’s behind the audio, and generating new cities doesn’t make sense because of how laggy it is

@twarped Yeah I know. Im no genius at coding. I come from a background of making photo gallery sites. Very new to javascript. 4 months in. Im learning. Thanks for checking it out though! I appreciate it.

do you have any advice? Is it the order of the code? the amount of buildings generated? too many lights?

That is just 4 months in?! That’s insane!!

It took a good two or three weeks, using Ai for code evaluation. No way I could have done it on my own out of the blue. Like I said, Im no genius.

Maybe ask the AI to use promises when rendering the frames so that while it’s rendering a frame, it skips the frames that would be rendered during that time so that it doesn’t lag, but instead only renders what it can. It won’t solve the issue, but it might be a way to start. There are also lots of lights, and maybe instead of a crap ton of lights on each building, each building is a light. Kind of like in beatsaber

true…good suggestion! Thanks

Love love love beat saber btw
