I had originally intended to make an ordinary finger drumpad (FGDP), but by the time I got to thinking about drum samples; I stopped for a moment to consider my audience, a friend who happens to be obsessed with dolphins. One small pivot later, and this drumpad (finpad?) is ready to lay down some cetaceous beats.
This little web app works best on mobile or a small tablet. The drawing code tries to make the best of the space provided while maintaining the relative size of the buttons and its vertical orientation. It’s also a lot easier to tap chords on touch devices than desktops.
