I wanted to join a project so I clicked “Join” and a message appeared saying that I had sent a request to join. I asked a teammate in Slack if they could approve my request. I found out then that my request doesn’t actually do anything unless someone is viewing the project’s editor at the time I request access. How can I get access in a scenario where I cannot Slack, email etc the owner? I guess this could be:
- Feature request: make the “Join” button always work
or
- Bug: don’t tell me the request was sent if it nobody saw it!
