HTTP Request limitation bypassed?

#1

I created a project just now (https://wakeful-output.glitch.me/) and flooded it with 4,010 requests for testing. Once the requests were sent I tried connecting to the site only for it to let me in! I guess request limiting isn’t working then.

Flood system used: https://github.com/D4Vinci/PyFlooder

It is working, we just allow some wiggle room to be nice

#3

Ah, okay. Let’s say I sent another 4,000 requests it would reach the limit?

Also, is there a way to view the amount of requests that have been sent?

We don’t publish current request rates anywhere, so the only way to see that would be to keep track of it yourself.

Also, while we’re currently allowing more than the published number of requests, that’s subject to change without warning.
