Ngrok tunnel is removed after closing the terminal

Hello.
I am facing a problem that when I close the terminal in my browser, the forwarded port provided by ngrok will be removed.
I would like to know if there is a way to keep the tunnel even the terminal is closed in my browser? Please help me. Thank you!

Can you try putting your ngrok command in the package.json?

It works perfectly! Thank you for your help!

Another question is: do I need to ping my project every minutes to keep ngrok running?

Pinging your project is banned and will get your project suspended.

are there any legal ways to keep the ngrok tunnel alive?

EDIT: It seems that the tunnel has not been removed anymore, so I mark this topic as solved.

You could buy Glitch Boosted. Then you can keep your project online 24/7.
