it’s: “we’re not planning on X, because we’re not at a point where we can plan for those kinds of things yet”.

Once the uplift to a more modern OS has completed (in a way where we can do future uplifts on a more regular cadence without all the nonsense we’re running into right now), people will at least be able to run things even if we don’t “officially” support them through starters.

Can glitch just support node 18.x faster as node 16.x is already end-of-support?
I really want to use node 18.x

I’m going to have to point you right back to the first comment, which explains why asking for someone to “just” update Node isn’t a very productive question.
