This month my project hours have been continously going up with no project editor’s being opened or project’s sites being visited. I don’t understand what is going on a don’t want to lose access to projects once my hours run out. This isn’t the first time something similar has happened… Sometime in the past couple of months glitch edited their code where project hours are being used x2 as fast. I have reported both problems to Glitch Support and they have basically left me with it’s my fault.
If anyone has had problems like this or the same i would be glad to hear your solutions.
try sorting your projects by hours used, and check if those high-hour-usage projects are public ones. it could be people other than yourself looking at those projects
As mentioned, if people are loading your projects (e.g. they’ve gone viral, or they’re just popular) then any time those projects are running will count towards your available hours (note: this will not be the case for static website content, which does not require your project to be running for people to load in their browser).
If you have 2 projects that are being kept running because folks keep accessing them, then over the course of 5 hours that’ll use up 10 total hours (5 hours for two projects each). Or if people are looking at 10 of your projects for an hour each, that’ll also use up 10 hours.
So as suggested, have a look at which project(s) are using up your hours, because it sounds like more than one of your projects is popular at the moment.
Two projects have api requests coming to it every 3 ish minutes due to an actively status website thing I have them set on. (Yes, I forgot about putting these on it)
