Read-only access for private projects

I have had several projects that I have sent out to collaborators to remix before I am ready to release it publicly.

Unfortunately, when I add collaborators to my private project, they get edit access and can mess up the original file. I can write PLEASE REMIX DO NOT EDIT DIRECTLY in the readme.md but we all know people do not like to read things.

This is a major issue blocking me using glitch in a corporate environment where things cannot always be public from the get-go.

I wish to remix private projects, but you have my vote for sure!

I know you can create a private project and invite people. But there’s no way to only invite people that can view the code, not edit the code. Is this feature being worked on? Kinda like how google docs works where you can invite a “viewer” or an “editor”?

Hi there - just moved your message in here so it’s logged in our Feature ideas category!
