Hey,
I’ve been trying to get Regular on this forum and I think I meet the requirements but I still don’t have it. Does anyone know if there is other requirements that are different than the default Discourse ones?
Thanks.
Hi!
I just reached regular and many things go into consideration including how much you read, for how long, how many posts, how many topics, etc. I couldn’t figure out the exact requirements, so I think it’s just luck and patience. For some reason however, I can’t figure out why I don’t get the little Regular tag next to my name
Hope this helps,
Eddie
Edit: Looks like the requirements are here: https://blog.discourse.org/2018/06/understanding-discourse-trust-levels/
Hi,
Thank you. As you can see on my profile though, I have pretty similar statistics as you do on the forum in the areas that matter according to that blog post. Also, you can enable your title in your account settings.
Thank you! Don’t know why that isn’t automatic!
Looks like the requirements reset every 100 days, so maybe it’s that?
No problem. Do you know if there’s any way to check your progress to Regular or like what your statistics are for the last 100 days?
I think i might can get the Regular but i don’t know.
I’ve posted a quote from discourse, this should likely help you track your info a little better, it’s also worth mentioning that once you have all the amount of stats it might take a day or two before you actually get the badge.
Looks like only admins can see your stats in the past 100 days
So it takes a day or two to add Regular to your account even if you have the requirements?
Discourse doesn’t constantly check your stats, that is resource heavy. They probably run some cron-job or check some few times per day.
Thank you. I’ll see if I get it within the next few days.
I can now see the Regular title tag next to your name.
Since apparently only Admins can do this, Glitch Staff, is there any way you could send me my “Requirements for Trust Level 3” page? Thanks.
Looking at your stats I would say your around a third of the way there. The key is just being active in the community and making good contributions. I wish you the best of luck!
I have similar stats to some people with Regular though
I sort of take back what I said because it isn’t always about the stats, its about how active you are.
Yes, activity is your stats in 100 days. Stats are your stats forever
Also worth noting the small text:
likes must be across a minimum number of different users (1/5 the number), across a minimum number of different days (1/4 the number). Likes cannot be from PMs.
You must have at least 100 days visited, whereas you give 1 like or more every 5 days to different people.
Your account must not have been suspended or silenced, meaning that you basically loose your privileges to post, like, etc.
Must not have 5 flagged posted, confirmed by a moderator (due to spam or offensive content).
Must have read at most 500 topics in the last 100 days.
Must have read at most 20k posts in the last 100 days.
Must have replied 10 different topics (not PMs).
Since the time you registered your account you must at least have visited the forum 50% of days since then.
