the only thing i think we need to have to be more “like a a REPL” is auto complete brackets, square brackets, parenthese, etc etc…
Hey @Jonyk56 this is an interesting point of view; when I think of a REPL I usually think of Python’s REPL, which definitely doesn’t have any of those features, but they’re definitely a core feature in many online “REPLs”.
We’ve got work on improvements to the Editor in our plans, and things like what you’ve mentioned are among the things we’re considering. There are other Feature Ideas topics discussing these features, so you might find it most effective to vote for one of those!
It could also be a toggle feature as alot would prefer it this way, I’m sure alot of people are by now used to the non automatic bracketing
