[RESOLVED] Intermittent failures in the editor 12/12 2:00 UTC

We found a bug that was causing the editor to be intermittently disconnected and reconnected while editing. You were affected if:

  1. While editing a file, say server.js, you saw the red alert bubble on the top right corner
  2. You were immediately reconnected with README.md open.

Since this could lead to major annoyance while working on your application, we deemed necessary to report it publicly here.

We just rolled out the fix.
