I have seen many people trying to setup a link shortener so i have set one up using Schort, a light weight link shortener. Just remix the project and it should work (:

the time it takes to generate a short url is really long. Is it supposed to be like that?
Probably not
only takes a second for me
thats really strange, but im working on my own url shortener and im almost done and ready to show it off, all i need to do now is check to see if the id it generates already exists in the db.
