We used to upload GIF avatars, but in meantime I cannot upload a GIF avatar to my Glitch profile.
Wishing a quick fix for this bug.
Are gifs really needed for profile pictures though? In my opinion we don’t need avatars at all. Why do we need gifs as avatars? Aren’t pngs good enough?

I think this is probably related to a larger avatar bug that’s effecting the platform. This bug has been open regarding project avatars for a few weeks now.
