For those of you who haven’t heard, Glitch had a sizable round of layoffs this week and I wanted to thank those people for the work they did on this incredible platform for this community. Going through posts on Twitter it seems I’ve interacted with a few of them in my short time here on the forums and I’m sad to see them go but excited to see what they build next!

The UK is close to an economic recession
Money is probably the biggest killer of communities. I wish that all Glitch employees who have had the misfortune of being layed off can find another great place to work, like Glitch seems to be. Some of these people have been with Glitch for years and it’s really sad that the people that have made Glitch such a great, creative and fun place to be have to go.
