The first of a series of cursor-tracking demos

I’ve been thinking a lot about cursor-tracking for use in designing animated UI elements, and am putting together a series of little demos on how to glean basic “physics” info out of the cursor data available through the browser.

This uses HTML5 Canvas to draw a dot under your cursor as you move it around over the canvas, and colors the dots based on the speed of your cursor (as measured by the distance traveled over each tick of a setInterval call.)
