The bot provided as a working example on https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc is not working.
I have tried to fork and input my own env variables into it as well but still have the same result (stuck in Starting state).
Any idea on how to proceed? Or is there another working Twitch Bot example i can look at and/or fork?

Looks like the bot is working.
I think i was confused that there is not confirmation that the bot started up successfully and just seemed to be stuck on the starting screen.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the Twitch Chat Bot. Have you tried reaching out to the Twitch developer team to see what the issue might be? Their project page recommends reaching out to them on twitter (@twitchdev) or their forums for help.
