Unable to change team avatar and cover

Please assist

Hey @Jovin_Ang we’ve seen occasional reports of this but haven’t been able to reproduce it reliably enough to find the actual problem.

If you’re interested in helping us out on that front, you could supply us with some more information:

  1. What browser and OS are you using?
  2. What’s the team you’re trying to update?
  3. What images are you attempting to use? You can email them to support@gitch.com if you’d prefer.

Perhaps with that information we can pin this intermittent problem down.

I have tried sending multiple emails to support@glitch.com but keep receiving errors sending. Any alternative way to send the pictures?

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

support@gitch.com (support@gitch.com)
Your message wasn’t delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, the recipient’s email system refused to accept a connection from your email system.

Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their email system is refusing connections from your email server. Give them the error details shown below. It’s likely that the recipient’s email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

For Email Admins
No connection could be made because the target computer actively refused it. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the remote host - that is, one with no server application running. I am using Google Chrome and running on Windows 10 1803
Both my teams https://glitch.com/@pubg-companion and https://glitch.com/@jovin-studios have the same issue of getting an error when attempting to change avatar.

Hey @Jovin_Ang, we’ve received your emails, they just get caught up before they make it to the staff-only Inbox in the forum since you’re emailing from an email address associated with your account here - just an unfortunate oddity of Discourse. Sorry for the bother!

We’re looking into problems with Team avatars; I’ll update you here when we have news.
