Hey, this might sound like a bit of a stupid question, but does anybody know where I can get the html source of the old Windows Server 403 page? It looks like this:
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/roblox/images/2/27/IP-Ban.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/2000
What version of Win Server 403 do you need?
Not sure what year this is from, I would say it would appear on a website running maybe the 2013 era edition.
But I don’t need the software, I was just wondering if I could see an example of this page “in the wild”
Ok, an update, I found it!
This is the source.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<div id="header"><h1>Server Error</h1></div>
<div id="content">
<div class="content-container"><fieldset>
<h2>403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.</h2>
<h3>You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.</h3>
</fieldset></div>
</div>
</body>
</html>
I’ve seen that before, maybe on our school website , looks sort of Apache-ish
This is like old school web design. Its either ASP.NET or some old Microsoft server.
Lets all have a moment of silence for all the people who pay for web servers.
You know its ancient when it uses
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
instead of <!DOCTYPE html>
at some point we need to bring back command line interfaces they are actually nice looking for example
this a 404 but it’s pretty similiar
http://pt.sduhsd.net/gimmea404
Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.5
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
I think that the server might be this:
https://www.iis.net/
Looking prehistoric!
