Glitch does not delete previous hostnames

Hi!
I’ve seen a lot of people ask for deleteing https://som-eproject.glitch.me because they have renamed project to https://some-project.glitch.me but previous host is still accessible. Why Glitch keeps these sites?

I also have that problem. I have project called meteocast but previously that was metcast. And, somehow, metcast.glitch.me is still working. That causes some problems, like, with CORS Politics.

Site: meteocast.glitch.me

I’ve had the same issue, I think it is related to how the load balancer works. You could try remixing your project and deleting the origin.

Hey folks we’ve discussed this internally and agree that this feature isn’t as useful as it once may have been. We’ve got a task in our backlog now to eliminate it, but I can’t say exactly when we’ll get to it.
