I’m looking to host my first discord bot and need help on where and how to set it up. Discord.js needs node.js 18+, but glitch runs on 14 only. Discord.py requires python 3 and glitch can’t handle it. Is there any other FREE and always awake services out there?
Hi! I host my Discord bot of my own on a Raspberry Pi. This is just drilled into the wall of my garage and sits there running the program. My bot has been online for weeks and weeks with no maintenance.
From the MONTHS of research I did after Replit changed there hosting plan… sadly, no. This was a real struggle for me. If you want to know how I host it in detail you can read my blog post about it.
