Project has reverted to a much earlier state

Hello, my project https://sunny-loving-forest.glitch.me has reverted back to its October 12 version. I did not do a Rewind, it just happened by itself.

I have worked a lot on this project since October 12 and got it near its final form on October 23rd. I discovered all my changes and new assets gone yesterday, October 24th.

In the days between 12-23 I did notice a few malfunctions, such as code reverting to an earlier version while I am working on it, but it always returned to normal. Now the entire project has been stuck on October 12 for several hours since I first noticed.

I’ve submitted a ticket to Glitch support 8 hours ago but they have not gotten back to me, and it’s now past their office hours. I need to present this website to a small group on Saturday the 26th, so I can’t wait too long for a response from the Glitch Team.

If I go ahead without the Glitch Team’s response and redo all the changes on the website in time for my presentation, how can I make sure that the project stays in the version that I need? It has some image-tracking AR and there are printed QR codes pointing to the URL so I can’t rebuild on another platform or project.

back it up so at least you can restore it easily if this happens again before your presentation. do you know git?

this also happened to me some time ago, all of the code I had on a project just disappeared and it reverted to original state without any edits. glitch support couldn’t help since they did not have any backups and rewind didn’t show anything

Ah how stressful, sounds like it happens more often than I thought

it only happened to me once. also it wasn’t anything big so everything was ok
