The end of Season 1 of Glitch Community Code Jams 🍓

Hey there jammers,

It’s officially November, meaning we’ve completed 12 months of Glitch Community Code Jams! :tada: That was a lot of hard work and even more creativity, so if you participated in one or many, THANK YOU and please give yourself a pat on the back, great job. November also means more of us are turning toward a place of planning, and most importantly, reflecting. So we’re calling Season 1 of Glitch Community Code Jams complete, and are beginning planning for Season 2, which will return in 2025.

While we’re in planning, we would love to hear from all of you. What did you like about Community Code Jams? What prompts should we do next season? Who should we partner with in the community to imagine the wildest prompts? Let us know in this thread so we can act accordingly.

super good about code jams: they’re fairly noncommercial. submissions are projects hosted on Glitch, but other than that they’re not at all focused on particular products. and projects made on the free plan are accepted. that makes them very approachable

enjoyable about code jams: getting to see lots of different interpretations of the prompt. :+1: on having broad enough prompts where this happens
