How to enable directories starting with "." on a static site?

This is a very similar question as How to enable directories starting with "."?.

However unlike the situation in that topic, I would like to do this on a Glitch static site.

I need a file in the .well-known directory to be visible. Can this be done? or would I need to change my site to an app to do this?

how could that solution work?

idea 1: it only makes it work while the project container is awake. this may be sufficient for some manual verification tasks

idea 2: glitch somehow parses the start command and determines which files to mirror into its static site storage

could someone check how it behaves when the project container is asleep?
