Synchronize within text editors

Is it possible to sync my glitch project to Sublime Text or Visual Studio Code without going to GitHub?

Yes! I have been messing around with the API and have figured out a way to do this, the extension has not been built yet as my current laptop is not very “capable”. I plan to purchase a new one in late September and look forward to building it. If any other extension developers are interested in my solution just send me a direct message.

If you have questions about the editing commands or protocol, let us know. I would be happy to answer them.

Can you explain the protocol?

I don’t have time to document the protocol right now, but if you’ve dug into it and have some questions, I can answer them for you.

Can you point me to the OT documentation? I tried Google but could not find anything…

It’s an internal protocol, and we haven’t had time to document it.

This may seem somewhat interesting to you! What are your thoughts on a Visual Studio Code extension for Glitch?
