Searched and found many threads asking for a mechanism to pretty-print their code. Is there any interest internally to implement this feature?

Finite development resources. There are many popular requested features and this isn’t one we’ve gotten to yet, though we hope to in the future. For now there are community created workarounds like http://prettier-new.glitch.me.
got it. FYI, that workaround posted doesn’t work in firefox or chrome.
