I think it is safe to say that most people on glitch who have been here for a while have tried to host a Discourse forum without noticing that the VMs the projects run on are not able to handle it without crashing or just not working. My suggestion is to have Discourse based hosting plans where users can rent, or buy a server that is just for Discourse.
I feel like that would be expensive,according to this discourse requires at least 10gb of storage. It also requires 2 different databases(redis and postgeres).
yeah, especially since discourse offers free hosting on their servers with reason.
plus, ruby packages take too much RAM and could slow down performance for everyone else
