I’ve noticed that Glitch has switched it’s CDN from Amazon’s Cloudfront to Fastly. I set up a small test to compare Cloudfront’s download speed to Fastly’s download speed.
Share your results, I’ll be interested to see how speeds vary around the world.
Fastly: 928.1999998092651ms
Cloudfront: 1000.6999998092651ms
inconsistent, but aws prob has a data center or something speeding it up in our city
The first time I opened the page the results were very slow (Fastly: 1091ms and Cloudfront: 788ms), but after refreshing I got:

Fastly: 29103.09999999404ms
Cloudfront: 2264.699999988079ms
whew!
Fastly: 352ms
Cloudfront: 610ms
Looks like Fastly is faster than Cloudfront on my network!
I don’t know what region you are in, but it’s possible that the items downloaded from Fastly could have missed the cache.
It seems Fastly isn’t providing much more of an improvement, but maybe Cloudfront has a server in Chicago 
I can’t read it from the screenshot, but if the airport code shown is ORD or CHI, it’s Chicago.
