Our call for nominations for Last Year on Glitch 2024 is out and we’re asking the community to help us showcase the Glitch apps that inspired you, helped you, and overall made you see how fun, friendly, and beautiful the Web could be in 2024.
You can submit as many as you like and you can even submit the apps you made yourself! At the turn of the new year, we’ll be sharing what the community has submitted as well as some other fun categories that we at Glitch have come up with - all to show the world what you, the friendliest community of coders, have built on Glitch!
We’re introducing a few new categories this year:
- Best Social Web Apps (renamed after last year’s Best Fediverse App) these were the apps that kept us connected while the web evolves and grows
- Code Jams Champion - it’s hard to believe these apps came from prompts because of how much they expanded the boundaries of the Glitch Community’s creativity
- Best Use of AI - these apps used generative ai, machine learning, natural language processing and/or more to wow us
- Community IRL - these apps brought people together in a real, tangible way in 2024
- Mind Blown Award for Best Data Visualization - how these projects made data come to life and tell a story remains a mystery to us
We can’t wait to share the community’s choices on Glitch as we roll into 2025!
