hello, i just joined glitch and it looks really good but there was 1 problem
when i try to make my project private, when i refresh the page it is unchecked
i click it to make it private
after refreshing i check it again and it is unchecked
You cannot make projects private as a free user.
You can make projects private if you buy the premium subscription.

This is the new share menu if you click on share inside the editor. It shows that you need to upgrade your account to make projects private.

my friend can do it and he didnt buy anything
Does your friend have glitch premium?
Clicking on the lock button results in PAYMENT REQUIRED which means that you can’t private projects as a free glitch user.

wait he just told me he cant change it anymore
but the private projects he had are still private
Any projects that are private before the update came are still private.
After the update came, if you make your project public when it was private before, you can’t make it private again because it’s now a paid feature.
